You have faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God! Now you're excited to get started in your walk with God and your wondering what's next. Here at CWC Bay Area we help believers, new or seasoned, in utilizing their God given gifts and skills for God's Kingdom. We are excited to help you serve God, but first let's make sure we're on the same page.

Before we help get you into a ministry where you can serve God in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, we need to make sure you do not misrepresent CWC Bay Area. We have a membership course called Foundations where you will learn about CWC's history, vision, ministries, responsibilities, and mission. 

This course takes place after second service on Sundays. There are four classes, you only need to attend each of them once, and each class is about an hour long. At the end of each you will take a quiz that is required to pass for you to attend the next class. All graduates receive a membership card and a t-shirt and can now serve in a ministry!

You should already be attending service and be engaging in service. This means that CWC is your church. You are not attending another church at the same time. Your commitment is here. This also means you've gotten to know some people and the pastors and aren't just dashing out the doors when service ends.

Alright member—you're leveling up! It's time that you get discipled. We use Operation Timothy, a 12 chapter discipleship program of foundational biblical knowledge. Each chapter has straight forward questions about verses and passages in the Bible that aim to build your knowledge of the word of God. A "Paul" will be assigned to you who has already undergone the same discipleship. They will not only help breakdown Scripture, but will be your accountability partner will help you grow in your relationship with God. 

*To volunteer in a ministry you must be discipled or are currently undergoing discipleship.*

There are 3 pathways available for you in CWC Bay Area; Volunteer, Leadership, & Ordained Minister. How much you progress in each pathway is determined by how much you put in.
