Dan Vera - Leader Pastor of CWC Bay Area

Pastor Dan Vera was born and raised in the San Jose area. He is a graduate of Southern Arizona Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Ministries. He has been part of the CWC family since 1988, when he came to Manteca to work with his former Youth Pastor, Steve Perea. Since joining Christian Worship Center, Pastor Dan has possessed the anointing to start ministries from nothing and establish lasting fruit as a result. This gift was never more evident than when He and his family left the comforts of Christian Worship Center of Manteca to found and pastor Christian Worship Center of San Jose, in April of 2000.

Pastor Dan is known for his humorous yet passionate & practical proclamation of the Word of God. He will stir your emotions, challenge your intellect but most importantly bring your will to a point of decision. Today, Pastor Dan and his first lady, Angie, along with their two beautiful daughters, Jazmine and Jaclyn have planted a thriving church in San Jose’s Eastside to draw people to “Next Level Living”.

Matthew Vasquez – Assistant Pastor of CWC Bay Area

In 1995, Matt Vasquez started his journey with CWC when he came to CWC Manteca to join Master’s Commission.  Upon graduating from Master’s Commission, he led youth ministry at the age of 19 while attending college and and also attending the Christian Worship Center Bible Institute.  In 1998, Matt joined the CWC Ministry Internship under the leadership of Bishop Steve Perea and caught the vision to be a church planter.  That same year, he became part of the first church planting team that would later plant CWC San Jose in 2000.

For over a decade, he has served under Pastor Dan at CWC San Jose and now oversees the CWC Milpitas Campus.  Matt is a gifted communicator, teacher and is passionate about using media to share faith. He is also known for creativity in the area of filmmaking and graphic design.  Matt married his wife Monica in 2002. They have two boys: Andrew and Nathan.

Nick Belaski - Masters Commission Director/Young Adults Pastor

Nick Belaski was born in Hayward Ca, and lived in different cities throughout the Bay Area.  At the age of 9 he and his family moved to a small town by the name of Manteca, Ca.  At the early age of 9 until the age of 21, Nick lived in Manteca where he attended Christian Worship Center.  He later went on to join Master’s Commission of Manteca (M.C.U.D.).  After one year of Master’s Commission Nick joined pastoral internship under the direction of Pastor Steve Perea.  Nick went on to graduate from internship as well as CWCBI with a Ministerial of Arts Degree.  Upon graduating from Bible College, Nick was asked to be a part of the first church launch in San Jose Ca, under the direction of Pastor Dan Vera.

Today Pastor Nick is the Director of San Jose Master’s Commission (S.J.M.C.) as well as the Single Adults Pastor.  Pastor Nick along with his wife Bre and his two daughters Auzeriah and Charlize have help to establish a growing church on the eastside of San Jose.
